Grant Award

Grantees receive a GRANT AWARD, including a GRANT PAYMENT TABLE, signed by the grantee and the host institution, when arriving at the host institution;
and a SCHOLARSHIP AWARD CERTIFICATE issued by the project office, after scholarship acceptance and submission of travel intinerary and dates.

The grant award document sets out all rights and duties. Grantees shall report on their activities as agreed upon individually (e-portfolio) with the Home and Host University. A Final Report has to be submitted no later than 4 weeks after the completion of the grant period. Grantees whose grant period is exceeding 12 months shall submit additional annual reports at the end of each 12 month’s period. All periods of absence must be specified in the reporting by the Grantee and reported to the host institution and the coordinator, etc.

Selected Candidates must
  • commit themselves to actively participate in the planned course activities,
  • spend the minimum of agreed months at the host institution,
  • perform agreed teaching/research/student tutoring activities,
  • bring concrete added value to the course and students by giving e.g. a geographical and cultural presentation of their home country,
  • contribute, after their visiting scholar activities, to the promotion and dissemination of Erasmus Mundus in general, and the gSmart programme in particular, in their Higher Education Institution and country of origin.
