A gSmart Alumni Network shall offer information on Geographic Information domain related studies, research, projects, events and services to connect gSmart EM scholars alumni together. This Alumni Network shall provide engagement opportunities for all ‘gSmart’ scholarship recipients to be involved with the EM project and stay connected to each other.

LinkedIn will serve as the priority professional network platform, managed by the gSmart Project Office (http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=3845445)
Other Social media, e.g. Facebook, may also support the development of personal and professional links important for facilitating learning and capacity development; ( http://em-gsmart.zgis.net/social-media).
The ACA*GIScience Blog serves as additional means of communications to Alumni; project related activities will be posted; (http://acagisc.blogspot.co.at)
Instagram will support to sustain a life-long relationship between scholars online via mobile photo/video-sharing; (https://www.instagram.com/gsmartem)
